Car is taking a much needed trip to Advanced and I am excited
As you all know I have dealt with my fair share of problems lately. I just got off the phone with Robert and we decided that next Tuesday the Dr. himself is going to tune this beast for solid 11's. Looks like I will be in the class with Vic, Jerome, Rich, etc.... Finally all this hard work will be paying off. Looks like Team Corvette might have one more heavy hitter for NorCal shootout.

Yeah, he drove a 4th gen with a 406 and destroyed everyone.....EVERYONE.
Teddy, it may have the power for 11's or even better, but it will take you a while to get the hang of it once it's all said and done. I think it has mid 12's power right now, but without seat time and experience it's hard to master, dare I say, even an automatic. Good luck and have fun most of all.

I think my driving is not perfect but very solid. I run consistant to my power and with .017 reaction times and 1.7 60's with the right power I can break 11's I was running 12.9's without my longtubes, cats, 3.42 gears, stall, N2O, etc... Yesterday I was bouncing off the rev limiter all day in every gear. I have a mid 12 second car with the right tune, 150hp shot should be good for something I might not net a 11.5 which is my goal but with 112 mph traps I know the car has potential. Bouncing off that rev limiter 4-5 times before EVERY shift can't be good for solid 1/4 times.

Thank you dear I did not do so hot on Sunday, but for having at least 200lb's of stereo equipment and wiring in my car she held up fine. I don't give up any creature features like a 14 speaker, 3000 watt, Nav system I think Robert is going to have fun with this pig. He was comparing me to GTO's in weight

Glad to hear you moved up in the ranks...
Teddy, best of luck to you in your quest for speed on the 1/4 mile. I think your car can run an 11.5 with your mods and a 150 shot. Just get the check book ready for when things go bang!
Hey Teddy goodluck with the new power but you also need to know with all that power it will be harder to drive and get traction. I know of guys that have over 600 rwhp that still can't get into the 11's the one good thing is it is a auto so that will help quite a bit.
I agree with all of you. I think my first couple shake downs will be funny but I also hope that by locking out 1st my traction will not be a HUGE issue. Once I get the car dialed in I will be happy. This is not going to be a everyday track car, but when I go I want to be in the ranks with the above mentioned. . After seeing some of the driving on Sunday I know I am more then capable. I got pretty good at this method taught to me when I was younger. "Stab and Grab baby" Even a solid 11.99 run would make me happy. The tranny and half shafts are going to be my weak link. DTE is in the back of my mind.
Add rpm transmissions to the list in the back of your mind too hehe
Looking forward to seeing you next week!!
Whats up early bird Put me on the books. I just sent the email stating 1/2 day next tuesday so I will leave from here and come check you out. I also need to know what else you want me to do before hand. I forgot to mention I also swapped plugs on friday for a set of TR6's @ .035 Is anyone else going over there?

If you will be doen there after work, then I will swing by and say whats up. I normally am down there a couple days a week after work anyways!
Lets plan it out that way and after Robert closes up shop we will go grab a bite to eat. I'll have a long drive home, but it might be with some new found power.
You already have one of the meanest fastest vettes I've seen.
With loud as hell exhaust and even louder boom box.
So, what happens when you run out of mods to do on your car ??
Do you then sell it and buy a new one to start modding ?
