Default Cheap Vararam installation?

Hi, I am new here and have a 2007 C6 A6. I am getting the Vararam CAI and the spacer. Does anyone know where I can get them installed cheaply? I know that both Synergy and Newteck do the work but they are both expensive. Hate to spend $180-200 for an installation. Also looking to have the 160 thermo done at the same time. Does the fan setting need to be done by a tuner or can anyone do it?

Install the vararam yourself - it should not be that difficult. As for the fans, you either need a hand-held tuner, or have Synergy / Newtech do it.

Look at it this way. 200.00 will get you the work done in a professional Manner. Just my Input.

Veraram.....easy install...30 minutes max...
Thermo......dont bother unless you're going to have you're fans switched by handheld or tuner...Otherwise you will not notice a difference

Anyone willing to install my Vararam? I am not handy with tools and don't want to hurt my C6.

Very easy install and you can have it tuned or about the third time you run it the computer does learn to compensate. Good luck!

The C5 install and the C6 install are way different. I would say the C5 is easier. The C6 you have to pull apart a few more things, cut a big portion of the shroud off, and put it all back together again. You can do it if you have some patients, its not too bad.
