Default where to do general maitanence in SF/bay area

Hey All,
Where do people take their c5s for general maintanence like oil change, brakes, etc? I'd like to take it to the dealership as a last resort. I would try to do it myself but I don't have enough space (or time) to spend working on the car... What are some good places that specialize in C5s around SF? I'm not looking for tuning or aftermarket installs (yet ) just stuff like oil changes...
Thanks in advance.

I take mine to Northstar in Mountain View. Dave Bonar has been racing Corvettes forever and knows them inside and out. And he has a good crew.

Well worth the ride to go to Fairfield Chevorlet in Fairfield.
Call Rich@707-422-7777 and ask for Rich the part manager. Tell him Deno recommended him and the dealership.

Well for an oil change...you cant beat $45 at Synergy...oil and filter.

I sure cost /hour is about the same everywhere.

The above names are good as well.

But for $45 it is a no brainer.

I wouldn't put anything in the vette BUT synthetic.

FYI-- last time I bought oil, Mobil 1 and Royal Purple were the exact same price at Pep Boys, for anyone looking where to pick up some better synthetics

You can often find 5 qt. containers of Mobile 1 at Wal-Mart at a good price. I usually buy a couple at a time when I see them. I also buy cases of 1 qt. Mobile 1 when it's on sale to supplement the 5 qt. jugs.

Sure, but Royal Purple is what I'm running now- Mobil 1 didn't carry the weight I wanted readily available so I upgraded
