For those of you who are not attending the Sunday drags at "Vette Magic", there is historic sports car racing at Infion. The old Trans-Am cars are the feature, but if you look over the entry list for the various events there are some great older Corvettes in the various classes.

I think I will be heading down Sunday morning from Folsom if anyone wants to tag along.

Any idea if there will be a Vette corral?

I know in the past they have had some different car corrals.
I would definitely like to hook up some other afficionados

I know there was one two years ago when I went. I will try contacting the race track and see if they know of any. The group that puts it on is the same on that runs the Monterey Historics, so you get a lot of the same cars.

Hi Dave,

I guess it just depends what you are into. I know you and I like road racing and this should be a good show to watch. I know some of the drivers from when I was racing, and the Trans-Am guys always put on a good show. This will be the second time they are running a class for the historic IMSA cars.

I am planning on leaving around 7am on Sunday. We can go together or follow each other down, although I know I can not keep up with the Z06 if you hit the gas.

Bummer too, my old car owner is running a vette
