Default the new guy

Hey guys, new to the forum after my dad suggested I hop on here. I知 20 years old and finally at a point where I can afford to get into the game here. I知 looking for a well kept automatic c5, my dad had one when i grew up and has since had many others but that one just stuck with me. priority would be black, NOT looking for a convertible hardtop only. i have a budget of $15k, i know they池e out there for that price.. also, if anybody has an auto c4 also preferably black send it my way!!

Hi, welcome to the corvette cult. You might want to post a WTB in the C5 cars for sale/wanted area too. A year and a half ago it was easy to find a low mileage c5 in that price range but as you know the used car market is a little crazy right now. But since more automatics were made you should be able to find something with lots of life in it and maybe 50-60k miles on the odometer, which leaves a lot of life left. Also prices tend to drop going into the fall/winter. I've owned 2 c5's over the years and they are great cars. -Dan

Good advice from 68sixspeed. Good luck with your search. Had a C5 for twelve years. Loved it.

The early C5 and C4 don't seem to be in the price gouging category right now. The later years are crazy prices. I'm also looking for a C4 vert to drive until my C8 gets here. About 8 more months I hope.
