(Event Sat. 11/2/19) Fall Shenandoah Corvette Cruise To Cooter's in Luray, VA:
Get ready for one of the best drives at the best time of the year in the Shenandoah. For many years, Corvette Forum Members organized a Corvette Cruise on Skyline Drive to enjoy the change of seasons and the fall leaves turning colors. While the warmer weather lately pushed back the leaves changing colors, this week, things began to change. It's looking like the first weekend of Nov. may be peak timing for cruising to check out the leaves, etc.
For nearly a decade, we ran these events, and we'd like to do this again - but with a different route and venue. While the cruise is traditionally a "Corvette Cruise", we will open this up for ANY GM Performance Vehicle to participate. Camaro/Firebird, CTS-V, Buicks, Pontiacs, Oldsmobile, etc.

Thanks - and SPREAD THE WORD!
See you there!

- Departure is 11:00 AM (sharp)
- Meeting point: The Food Lion Plaza in Warrenton, VA @ 613 Frost Ave, Warrenton, VA 20186
THE DESTINATION:
- Cooter's In The Country, which is the Dukes of Hazzard TV Show-Themed museum, restaurant, and gift shop.
- We will arrive at Cooter's around Noon.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- The drive is around 1 Hour (from Warrenton to Cooter's)

- You are responsible for your own driving, passengers, and car.
Thanks - and SPREAD THE WORD!
See you there!

Does this cruise go into the park? If so, are they going to charge a $150 fee on top of the $10 per car fee?

NO FEES FOR THIS EVENT other than your own costs of gasoline, food, etc. We will stick to public roads as we head to Cooter's Garage and Museum. No fees for entrance there, either. Hope to see you on the cruise. Thanks again.

How many have RSVP'D? I have a small group of Vette owners in Ashburn who would like to go, only trying to decide to meetup with you in Warrenton or head straight to Cooter's. It's about a half hour difference.

As of the first day, there were 15. Will keep checking, but the point is to go on the cruise, but will welcome you either way. Just let me know. Thanks,
How many in your group? What kind of cars?

I'm in, +1. I attended a few of the old Skyline Drive cruises before they stopped and had a good time.
As long as we're out that way, I may head over to skyline drive and test out my new Senior's Park Pass.

That sounds like a great time, I have not been there in over 30 years but recall it as beautiful. Is Skyline Drive still open? I recall driving it the full length and camping at a stop there.
Wish I had the time to drive down and go with you.
