Lots of cruises and shows all over the Central & South Jersey area. There is a cruise or show somewhere almost everyday of the week all spring and summer. There is a Cars and Coffee in Mt Laurel every Saturday morning all year long. If its not snowing, raining or a bunch of crap on the road I go whenever I can all year. Get in touch maybe we can meet somewhere and create a Corvette overload.

Default Jersey Shows/cruises/events websites

Hey Jersey Vette people...here are a couple of links to the upcoming season's activities/shows/cruises, etc.

http://www.newjerseycarshows.com/car-shows.html

http://www.oldride.com/events/newjersey.html

http://www.outcastcruisers.com/showcruisedates.html

https://www.carsandcoffeenj.com/

http://carshowsafari.com/search/events/

You'll find some of the same shows/cruises on more than one site, but most are not. I'm sure there are some other website listings, but I haven't had a chance to search for them yet.

I live "down the Shore" in Monmouth County and try to get to as many local and "semi-local" shows as I can. (I've attended and/or entered shows from W. Caldwell to Smithville and everywhere in between, so there'll be lots to do and see once Spring arrives and sponsors get their calendars/schedules publicized. In the meantime, stay warm and dry.

Too much salt on the roads yet. We need a good rain to wash it away!

Default Way too much salt used everywhere...

I took the plunge and went over to the "dark side" Friday...traded my C6 for a new C7 up at MacMulkin Chevrolet in NH. Drove it home about 300 miles on Saturday and by the time I arrived the car was just covered with dry white powder (road salt, obviously.) It looks like a totally different color! All the way was dry and clear, but the amount of salt on the roads from NJ to NH and back is just ridiculous! The shoulders are covered to the point it looks like an inch or two of snow. There must be a better, more efficient, less ecologically harmful, and cost effective way to treat roadways.

Riverdog,
Hello what color was your car before it turned salt white ( when you say dark side, black?). Funny, when you are on the "dark side " with a motorcycle, you are running a car tire on on the rear I did just that on my '06 Gold wing ) Congrats on your purchase. I just washed and waxed mine today, Black with a 154 miles. Brought it home 12/22.

I feel like I have seen this car parked in Somerville on Friday nights by Starbucks. There are always 2 yellow C7s and a red C5Z parked in the same spots. If that is yours, it's really nice, very clean.
