This year's Ct. State Police Toy Drive Escorted Cruise is scheduled for Sunday Dec. 4th. Please come out to support this event. The police and the kids really appreciate it. Details are here:

2016 Connecticut State Police Toy Drive Cruise
Sunday December 4th, 2016, 9:30 AM
Start Point: Park and Ride Lot Exit 1 off 84 in Danbury CT.
The Police will then lead us on a cruise to the Police Barracks in Southbury Ct. (exit 14 of route 84)
Coffee, donuts and Santa will be waiting! So bring the kids and grandkids.
All cars and car clubs welcome: Exotics, sports, cruisers, customs and everything in between! Daily drivers are welcome as well. Motorcycles too!
Please bring an unwrapped and unopened toy (value approx. $10- $15).This is a rain or shine event.

I joined you on a poker run to Monticello several years ago. Had a blast!
I'll try to get some of the No.Conn. Posse in on this, I'll be there for sure.

Sounds like fun.
Never did this before! Is the plan, just show up with a toy and get in line? What is best time to show up?

Z Corvette, yes I remember that Poker Run to Monticello well. The "parade" laps turned out to be quite a bit more than parade laps! I hope you and some of the North Posse can make it. We have a great time and the Ct. State Police really appreciate it and are great hosts.

Everyone arrives by 9:30. There will be plenty of parking and an opportunity to see all the different cars. Once the police arrive they say a few words about logistics and they shut down the roads outside the "park and ride" so we can exit as a group. Generally, when leaving the lot you just find a place in the line. You will keep your toy with you until we arrive at the police barracks and you park. Inside the barracks is a large area with coffee. hot chocolate, and donuts compliments of the local dunkin donuts. There will be a long table to drop your toy off.

Great job by the CT State Police and local PD's. Thanks to Candlewood for posting this and putting it together. Needy kids will get toys. That's whats important.
