Ok, that's one Saturday's worth of work...... What will you do with the rest of you time?

What's a Saturday? I seem to have forgotten, I think that's the day of the week I get up early even though I don't have to work, run kids to sports, go to birthday parties and a million other events not planned by me.

My best chance of working on it is from 9-11pm on nights I don't pick up from swim.

Finally got 3 whole hours in a row, with daylight to work on the Vette. Only because soccer was cancelled and we had no other plans. Got the steering box swapped, have the control valve out and on my work bench to rebuild. Also found my transmission leak, the huge puddle is coming from...wait for it...the speedo gear. Might as well change the gear while I'm at it so my speedo reads right. Also think my oil leak is coming from the timing cover, so I'll pull that when I pull the water pump. It's progress though!

Ok, if not for the Village run, make sure you are ready for the fall cruise.

Paco,

I admire your efforts to keep that gorgeous car healthy. I also hope to see you again at the fall cruise. Keep those sockets turning and good luck to you with the repairs.

Made more progress today but found more problems. Gotta order some parts, but I'm not banking on it being ready unless a miracle happens. If not, maybe I'll just drive the Bimmer...won't be the same though...

We'll miss our first fall ride since they started as we have just booked a long overdue vacation in Florida. I'm sure Dave will put together another great day, have fun everyone

Default Count Me in Too

I had a great time last year so I would love to come this year, do you have a maximum number you can take? I might have 1 or 2 more cars that might like to come too?

I have not seen any bbq places since I left Houston in august, and I don't see myself driving an excursion on a fun trip with a lot of vettes on some pretty curvy roads. soooo, if anyone is going solo and would like a little company, i would sure like to go. thanks ya'll.

If you need a hand with pinstripes or putting a screaming chicken on the hood, let me know

Bub's (where it's ending) is the best I've found up here. It's not Rudy's but it's pretty solid. Maybe you can get an ETA of when the group will be there and make the drive up. It's a pretty ride (I work nearby).

Good chance I'll be in the Bimmer though...we'll see though...

You can ride with me. Hopefully the balance of the mouse smell will be gone by then.
