"Vettes to Vets" - Sun., Sept. 28th
Reminder -
The 11th Annual Vettes to Vets event is Sunday - September 28th –just a little more than 2 months away. Yes– 11 years strong! It is amazing to see how this event has grown. Each year we see old friends and lots of new friends too.
In the past you participated in this amazing day. Last year 450 + Corvettes paid tribute to our veterans. The veterans at the Edith Nourse Rogers VA Hospital in Bedford, MA come from every corner of our country and from all walks of life.Their bravery and sacrifice was and still is like nothing elsein this world - A world that is safer because of their commitment to our freedom.
We owe our freedoms to the men and women who served their country - from World War II, Vietnam, Korea, Iraq and Afghanistan - they all answered the call. Now it’s our turn to answer the call….
For those who would like to experience the entire Vettes to Vets experience and stay overnight at the Marriott Hotel, there is a reduced room rate of $83 per night. Call the Marriott at 978-670-7500 and mention "Vettes to Vets" when reserving your room. This is a special rate for Vettes to Vets. The hotel is also offering a special rate on the Saturday evening buffet for $20 per person and Sunday breakfast for $10 per person. Don't wait too long. Reduced room rates expire on Sept. 5th.
We hope you will again be part of our tribute this year and be present to say 'Thank You'.

Don't forget the annual "Vettes to Vets" being held on Sunday, Sept. 28th. If you have never particpated, you will want to put this on your "to do" list!!

Not that I would want to pay the taxes that y'all do, or bare the cold months in the far North, but of recent I see more Corvette activities listed here from Connecticut to Maine than in our area. My Corvette hat's off to you folks that are providing these events for the owners in your locations. It's a stretch in miles for us here in the mid Atlantic/Philadelphia area to join you, but with proper planing..who knows (Brad's Blessing of the Vettes sounds interesting) what the future might bring. I'm sure YOUR leaf change is magnificent to say the least. Okay, carry on, and a bump for your thread.
