Hoping it'll be ready so I can make it...I'm making progress but still have a way to go (especially if you count having to get it registered and an alignment once it's back together). My only concern is getting some time to work out the bugs, this car has now had a complete tear down, but it hasn't seen the street in over a decade, and has only been run 2000 miles in the past 20 years!

Well, car will probably be ready, but it most likely won't be registered by then. Went to the DMV today and they're making me jump through hoops because I bought it when I lived in TX, and I only got a TX bill of sale. Apparently that won't work for them so I have to get the guy I bought it from to sign a CT bill of sale. Then go back, get a temp tag, take it to get a vin check, then go back again to get it registered. What a load of crap...

I'd say I'm a 50/50 chance right now...I'm making a trip back to the DMV tomorrow, if that goes well then I need to get a little street time on it on Saturday if I can so I feel ok that it's not going to crap out on me on the way up.

I'm going up Friday for qualifying and the first VSCCA race.

I'll be there Saturday for race day as well, then Sunday for the show.

Monday, I'll be at the Old Lyme Classic Car show and then down to Ocean Beach in New London for the weekly Monday evening cruise-in.
