Carlisle this year (NJ guys)
I vowed not to go , but since they are having this 50th anniversary special display there this year - I might change modes to 'waxer' and attend ... what is the plan for this year ? We doing the same thing as last year ... getting up at 2am, meeting Mojo down the turnpike and spending the night again over in Carlisle !? Please inform ...

As far as Carlisle goes, I'm leaving the rest area on the NJ Turnpike, the one 2 miles south of Exit 7A at 3:00am.
We did this last year and the timing was perfect. We got there a few minutes before the gates opened and were among the first 20 or so to get in.

I don't know what my deal is yet... with the closing of the house and everything... I might only make it out there for one night, but I have a room reserved for Fri-Sun... I might have to cough it up!!! :(

I usually plan to drive down Friday night, stop for dinner, then go to a motel. I spend the day there Sat and then drive home in the afternoon. This year is iffy with the house closing in August.
If I do go then I hope to meet up with some of you guys...

Couple years ago I took a wrong turn from the hotel at Camp Hill and not only added 10 miles to the drive but ran into traffic approaching Carlisle from the south and took an extra hour to get in! :mad
I am going up Thursday evening and am staying in Camp Hill 3 nights. I need full days Friday and Saturday, then come home Sunday early. MJ
