NON member (since none of us are "members") Alan Chambers has suggested that we meet at 12 noon on Saturday, April 26 at the Liberty Plaza in Newark, DE, (Kirkwood Hwy and Possum Park Rd), and cruise to the Fireside Tavern (http://www.dsfireside.com/home.html), in Strasburg, PA. Alan and his wife, Veda, have volunteered to lead the group. It takes about an hour from Newark. Pray for good weather!!

That was taken at the Dover AFB Museum a couple years ago, where there was a car show honoring our wounded warriors and veterans. It's actually an F-106, (http://amcmuseum.org/exhibits_and_planes/f-106.php) that has no significance to me other than the fact that I thought it would make a cool picture...2 jets together!!
If you are ever in the Dover area for more than a few days, I highly recommend a visit to the Air Mobility Command Museum.

So, I really did think I might meet up with ya's somewhere along the line.
This morning - plum forgot all about it.
So I was out doing this n that to the Vette. Decided to start it up n charge the battery back up and look for a vacuum leak in my lights.
It was idling a while and I noticed some anti-freeze running out.
So sitting in the driveway the heater hose wore through n sprung a leak.
Guess it's good I forgot.
Hope ya's had a good time and missed the showers.

WOWZER!! If there were ever a silver lining in the need for a car repair...that it happened in your driveway would be it!!
We're trying to figure out where to go for May. Even though it's a Holiday weekend, we'll probably go on the 25th. Any ideas for a "cruise to" spot are welcome!!!
