Default South Jesey Detail

Today I cried.I saw a Vette at a car wash. The sacrilege. The damage. So here it is. Anyone in the area who would like to come over and learn paint correction- it's on me. From swirl and RIDS removal to jeweling and LSP. I've done this with my last car and those folks(even repainted several and did body kits). Had a blast and met and made some new friends.

I'm in South Jersey about 20 minutes from Philly

Bob,

I would love to take you up on your offer later this year if the offer stands at that time. I have a factory black 1969 Corvette and the paint needs help. It's okay from a distance but when you get closer to the car you notice the small scratches, orange peel; etc. I don't know how old the paint it, what the paint is (lacquer, enamel) or the thickness.
I bought a Flex polisher and tried to do some work on it myself after viewing the videos on the Adam's website but, I was not impressed with my work and didn't want to do more damage.

I am waiting to have some brake work done on the car in the next couple of weeks so I can't take you up on the offer sooner.

Thanks,

Dave

My car definately needs a lot of tlc in the paint/detail dept, years of hard track usage, never time to clean it properly. I have never used a buffer and would like to learn to get rid of swirl marks etc.. When you gentlemen decide to do this, let me know I might come and try to learn a few things.

Hows the car running? I remember talking to you in the parking lot, good to now know your screen name. If the red could be brought back to life, that would be amazing.

She runs like a raped ape ( not that I've ever seen one run-but damn they must move)

some of those deeper RIDS won't come out with out compromising the UV protection of the clear, but we can sure getting looking good. I work Mon-Sat, so would need to be a Sunday. Be pretty full day. Anytime you wanna go for it just let me know.

Have bought some aluminum back from the dead. Not my favorite, but we can do some. The idea here is for me to show people how to correct paint.Been doing it since '78 before i picked up the gun in '83.

Hi yamabob how are you doing? I met you at the Mt. Laurel Cars and Coffee I had the 96 silver Corvette. Now I can connect a screen name and a person together. Hi George I think I met you for the first time that same day. I hope the weather will be nice enough this week to get the corvette out and get over to Cars and Coffee in Mt. Laurel on Saturday morning.

I'll be there tonight at 8 for our OGSCC club meeting. You should try to stop by. Our cruise night there won't start until May.

I have been there a few times it was more like a long, thin, slow moving, parking lot. Next meeting is April 1st.

Hope to be there this Saturday with my 69 and meet some fellow forum members.

Bob, maybe we could set a date for all of us to meet and teach us your skills.
