Go Karts - Sat. Feb. 22 - Cinnaminson, NJ
The annual Go Kart event is now scheduled, this year it is at a new location in Cinnaminson, New Jersey. SPEED RACEWAY Indoor Electric Kart Racing, Italian made top-of-the-line carts, two different track configurations and a private room for us to relax in.
When: Saturday February 22nd
Time: 10am until 1pm
Where: Speed Raceway 1103 Route 130 South Cinnaminson, NJ 08077

The normal opening time for the track is 11am, but we are schedule to begin our races at 10am, so we have the entire place to ourselves for the first hour. We can arrive as early as 9:30am to get registered and signed in.
We will have two packages to choose from and you can decide when you arrive; Mini Grand Prix is 2 races for $60 or the Grand Prix is 3 races and both of the packages includes lunch which we can enjoy in a private room with a great view of the track. Your day racing license is included in the package as well. Plus if you bring your Go Pro cameras for those technically advanced guys, we can watch video of our runs, while we eat lunch, they have all the connections we need and a video screen.
This event is being hosted by myself and John Porter/Rex Ruby, so we are hoping to have a bunch of Corvette Forum member show up and drive. We are also inviting the DelCo Cruisers and the New Jersey Corvette Caravan to join us, so this should be a big event. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the National Corvette Museum through the NJ Caravan and to DelCo Cruiser charities.
There will be a 50/50 raffle and plenty of door prizes available to win as well.
So in the midst of this crappy weather we are having let's plan to get together and enjoy each other's company for a day of trash talking and racing!

Folks just a quick update. At this point in time I have nearly 30 people signed up for the event. So this promises to be a lot of fun with a lot of people.
I have also secured over $500 worth of door prizes that will be given away during the event. So your odds of winning something are pretty good.
We will also have a professional photographer on site taking pictures of the event.
So if you are on the fence, jump on the side with all the folks that are going to have fun driving go karts!!

Sorry guys. I'm out for Saturday. Injurred my back this weekend, so a kart being banged aorund by a bunch of other A-type weekend racers is probably the last place I should be. Bummer as I was looking forward to it.
