Welcome to Northeast Track Days. We're a new and exciting group whose main focus is to maximize the FUN factor on and off the track throughout the entire day. We offer a unique instructor / novice training program as well as open (instructor free) lapping sessions for experienced drivers. Thanks for the info, I'll check out your web site and I know at $250.00 I'll make a few on your NJMSP dates. Anything at Pocono, VIR, or WGI? Dave and I are planning a trip to WGI this year. (imho the best track the US has)

Hi George,

Right now we are working with the 3 facilities listed, which consist of 4 tracks. For 2015 we'll definitely be looking to increase the variety and include some of the tracks you mentioned. There are also some other tracks opening in the Northeast, which should make it more interesting. I'm excited to meet you guys at the events.

June 10th is my birthday, and I think a track will be my present to myself., Dave you don't need any instruction. Even though I've instructed before, it takes a special person to be able to do that. I don't have the patience....yet.

Only track I've ever raced on was the Nurburgring and it was a blast. The whole reason I opted for a z06 anyway...
I want to join up but these dates seem to be all weekdays and I would only be free to track the car on a weekend. Oh well

I wouldn't mind taking one or two days off, but 10+? I want to track twice a month and def cannot use up all my days off on this. Strange dates, I guess this is geared towards retired folk?
I was looking into NASANE and their dates are weekends. Wonder if there are any other track clubs that do weekends. Sorry to derail the thread a bit David, sure does sound awesome.

Which is the best fun beginner track out of those? any recommendations? I have been waiting for a good time to get to some of these type of events!

I see that you're in northern NJ, so I would say New Jersey Motorsports Park. They have two fantastic tracks, Thunderbolt and Lightning, which are extremely entertaining. Lightning is a little shorter with 2 fewer turns, so it might be easier although that really depends on the individual. Maybe the other members will chime in with their thoughts.
