The C7R did ok. 1 broke and the other finished 5th I believe after a gearbox failure.

Am I coming out of retirement? Not this year. Waiting to see what the next generation of corvettes bring and maybe just run one of them stock from time to time.

Very nice. I could use a couple test days for the car before some late June early July events. The April and June NJMP days will work out just fine for me...

Can a convertible c6 be used on the track or do I need a roll cage?

Typically you will need an "approved" aftermarket roll bar that is higher than your helmet on your head when seated and attached to the frame.

We don't have any discounts for newbies, but our April and Preseason promotions are an unbeatable value.

David, if I understand your schedule and pricing listed, if I register for your long term event on June 11th event at NJMSP Thunderbolt, advanced driver, and sign up before April 7th its only $300.00 for 3&1/2 hrs of on track time? (7-30min sessions=210minutes)

Hi George,

That is correct! $300 for 3 1/2 hours of track time, but in 5 sessions (35min, 45min, 45min, 45min, 40min.)

Thanks,
David

Sorry for the extremely delayed response, but I have not received email notifications for some of the posts.

We received an inquiry from someone with a BRZ, so I'm not sure if we're talking about the same people. To answer your question, we are ok with 2 people sharing a car. We prefer if they are running in two different run groups, so they get the best experience. However, if they are running in the same run group we recommend that one person runs two consecutive sessions in the morning and the other runs the afternoon sessions. Both drivers would attend all classroom sessions. From a cost perspective they would "share" the registration fee since we are not losing a spot in the run group at anytime during the day.

Thanks,
David

Thank you franman69 for responding......you are absolutely correct. All convertibles must run with fixed position rollover protection.

Thanks,
David

Are passangers allowed at your events? A fellow hpde'r will be in town and has a helmet, could he be a passanger in my car, and the other scenario is that one of my daughters would like to experience a track day with me as part of her birthday present. (I looked at your web site but didn't find anything related to passangers)

Hi guys,

Only Instructors are allowed to be passengers and/or drive with a passenger. These are rules set forth by the State, so there's no wiggle room.

George - Would you be willing to share your car with your fellow hpde'r? Maybe he can drive in a separate run group and enjoy the day with you.

George and Ed - How old is your daughter? How old is your son? Just trying to think of other options that might work for you.

Thanks,
David

I was an instructor through PDA and HOD, haven't renewed my credentials in a few years though. My buddy doesn't want to drive, he's a novice. Just figured I'd ask since SCDA,PCA, and sometimes HOD allowed it. Its not a problem though, thanks for responding.

That's really too bad. A lot of us have people that like the thril of being a passenger on the track. It's just not cool to show how the car runs on the street. Just run 7/10ths when a passenger is on board.

PS I'm probably going 4/7 lightening course. Can't help myself.
