Ford trucks are hard to get on a lift because of the angled frame.
We tried to just lift just the front a foot off the ground to do an oil change.
When we had the truck a foot up and looked under to check the stability I decided no good.
Before I could let it down she slipped off the pads and the rocker on one side came down on one of the arms.
A little damage but easily repaired.
Bottom line don't use something in a manner it's not supossed to be used for.
