It was nice to so many Corvetters from near and far stop by to pay respects to our Kimmie.
If anyone will be attending the funeral on Monday, some of us will be driving the Vette RAIN or SHINE in Kimmie's honor. If your car isn't buttoned up for the winter and you wouldn't mind getting it wet on Monday, please consider driving it. We can make Kimmie smile a great big smile.

There wasn't a dry eye yesterday at Kim's beautiful memorial service in the magnificent St. Martin de Porres Church in Poughkeepsie.
The persistent and heavy rain limited the cortège from the funeral home to the church to only two Corvettes. That was a bit sad but completely understandable given the nasty weather.
Godspeed Kimmie.
P.S. God bless Em (formally Downtown's Darkest), for braving the extreme cold, ice and snow to drive the 600+ miles (one-way) from Detroit, to attend the service.

I see that the funeral home did not post the obituary and the usual provisions for leaving condolences online. Could someone please PM me the correct contact information where I can send written condolences? Thanks.

Sorry, I was thinking about texting you too, I thought someone else would have let you know as the word spread.

Wow, I haven't been on here in awhile. I never had the pleasure of meeting Kim in person. But we did exchange messages here a few times. From what I saw in the posts, she seemed like a great person. I'm sadder about her passing, than I have been for some people I did meet.
R.I.P. and I hope her family can stay strong.
