Thank you to everyone. Last thursday night I ate an antipasta salad with fresh mozzerell. The cheese didn't taste too well, but i ate it anyway. 2hrs later my neck had sharp pains in it and later I vomited4 -5 times. Friday morning I tried to go to work, but got so dizzy, I couldn't see the road so i let my helper drive to the job. We got there and within and hour, ran out and I had another round of turning food into a projectile, so we went home. Felt better Saturday and Sunday but by Monday it was back in full force. Tuesday was the same thing. My wife tried to make and appointment with my doctor, but he wasn't available and I argued that I'd be ok by the next morning. She had already bought every over the counter medicine known to man and I figured it was just a stubborn stomache related to the cheese. By Wednesday morning I agreed with her and we went to the ER. After blood work, a cat scan, EKG, 3-MRI's and a spinal tap it was determined that I had viral menenginitis, and my blood pressure was between 200 over 107 and only got as low as 170 over 104. I thought the cheese, or some of the mold infested places that we have to get into might be the source, but the docs all said no.(We have top notch respirators) Interestingly the tests show that I had 2 strokes recently. So after 4 days of heavy antibiotics, flushing the kidneys, and strong blood pressure medication, I'm home, on meds, virus not completly gone but its not contagious. On a good note I lost 7 lbs and got to meet a slew of cute nurses.

You see, there's always a good side to everything. Now you can go back and visit all those cute nurses that helped you gain your strength back. All those needles though, what a turn around having someone "sticking it to you" instead of the other way around. Maybe all those anti-biotics will help prevent any further issues from your next "adventure" too.
Seriously though, these things can be pretty dangerous. It seems like so many of us have had our issues over the years as we've gotten older. Stay well, and rest up so you can be back behind the wheel for the upcoming season.
