Damn ..
sorry, i did text a few people and thought some would have you. I even commented to Aimee that I thought you would be at the wake, there was a guy there that had funny hair and beard like you but he looked younger.

We (all of us are still friends) really should keep in touch more often. Some post on facebook, some only text each other in a private group, some have other interests, and some just pay attention to free **** sites.() I guess I just miss the old days of lunches/brunches/meets/cruises and coming on the forum, jesting back and forth and laughing.

True...true. This Saturday is another South Jersey High Octane, but it doesn't look good weather wise, so I'll pass for this week, and look again in two weeks. One of the problems I see is the fact that there isn't really a unified source for contact or posting of information (us Corvetteaholics). If a specific event (more could branch out later) could start an email list that could be sent out to the masses there would be less of the "I didn't know that get together was going on" to be the issue. We could use someone with those skills (like Alex in the day) to get us started again. That way the list of us all would at least be informed of happenings, and either come out, or not. Logistics is a player also as some of us reside quite a distance from one another.

what a difference 2 hours makes.

Morning started like this :

Then less then 2 hrs later at 8:20 AM due to the pending winter storm I had to go get milk (for the baby) and bread

Made it up my hill with RWD Lincoln, 20 deg temp the snow is wicked slippery

Need to put down the MAG so Aimee can make it up, used 300 lb this season so far

Will help with the base packed snow from freezing to the pavement

Put the Lincoln outside so Aimee can have the garage for the polar vortex

Got an over 1" more since the photos and the wind picked up, 18 deg right now, everyone made it home. The ploughs came after Aimee came home and my 3 y/o son school bus barely made it up the hill

17:30 and it's still snowing here (and will overnight). About a foot so far and counting. We'll deal with it tomorrow.

I love going down my street, cranking the steering wheel full left, countersteering full right, then back and forth seasawing the steering wheel all the way down the street from end to end in the pick up truck. Then I went to the firehouse and did 360's in the rear parkinglot for a while. Fun, fun, fun Tomorrow clean everything with the snowblower and head over to a friends house who happens to be in Fla on business, and clean off his drive and walk way. He has a new monster snowblower that should be fun to use. My 15yr old daughter told me that as part of her 16th birthday gift she'd like to go to the track with me in the vette
