Corvette Club of RI Show - Sun., July 29 - South Kingstown, RI
For 40 years, the Corvette Club of Rhode Island hosted a judged, Corvettes-only show which has highly successful. Last year, however, they changed the whole scope of this annual show by making it a non-judged show. Many clubs and Corvette enthusiasts watched carefully to see how this drastic change was accepted. Well, CCRI’s non-judged show was a huge success!! Sure, everyone had clean cars but didn’t have to go to the “show clean” level. It made socializing with friends and other clubs so much nicer for all.
This year the Corvette Club of Rhode Island is following this new concept and will be holding their non-judged, fun show on Sunday, July 29th (rain date August 5th). Be sure to come down to Marina Park in South Kingstown, RI for a relaxed day! You’ll be glad you did...

Thanks Elaine for the great write up on "Corvettes by the Sea"
My partner Larry and I have been hard at work to make this year's show just as good if not better then last year.
We have listened to advice from attendees and have tweeked a few things to hopefully improve upon last year's show.
The raffle table is going to have some great items, not just your ordinary car stuff. We will have ice cream this year in addition to lemonade. We are going to add items to our Food Tent and we will have two teams selling 50/50 tickets. Last year's 50/50 awarded $600 to a lucky winner and our take went to support the residents of the RI Veterans Home in Bristol, RI.
We will follow the same format as last year for trophy presentaions since it was well received. We will stage the Vettes slated to receive trophies and parade them up one at a time to the DJ Booth.
The driver will be given the opportunity to step out of his/her car, receive the trophy and have a picture taken of him/her holding the trophy with the car in the background. The picture will be made available to you via e-mail. How cool is that?
