Met a couple SS camaros , Vettes and Gto's tonight and they live over by that mall. I told them people were meeting up @ 11pm so you might have a couple more cars going as well.

SNJ we are still meeting up around 11pm Depford mall and probably leaving @ midnight since we are only 10 miles or so from Tony Lukes. Gonna be fun..Cant decide if I wanna take the Corvette or the Trans am..

Im questionable about showing I got to travel from Richmond, VA area. Thats 3 hours of driving in a 3000lbs vette with slicks. And to boot Ive been putting off fixing my windshield wiper issue which sometimes works. Im going to watch the weather as it gets closer.

I might show up tonight, but its not weather related. Looks like my daughters 10th b-day pary will end early. If you drive at a normal speed in the rain, you'll be fine. My avatar pic is in the rain at WGI at 120 mph on slicks and the car didn't melt. Not to be insulting but, what is the big deal about "car has never been driven in the rain".

It's not the fact that I don't want to drive in the rain, its my wiper blades are shot I have no AC in my car and most of all i bought a vette to drive it fast not to drive at normal speeds.. I can get a honda civic to do that.

I have no problem with people going tonight on there own. If you want to go, go.

I'm not the only one who's going that doesn't want to drive in the rain... different strokes for different folks... Nothing official yet but its looking like this is going to postponed for next Friday or Saturday.

My ac is shot too, it sucks because it gets so frikin hot in the car. (I don't drive anything at normal speeds) hopefully in a little while everything blows over and tonight is fine. I'm in S. Jersey and the party just move indoors because of the rain. 14 10yr old girls in the house running around

Let's not say this is postponed.
Only the folks with the most distance are having second thoughts.
This is still on for the anyone who is interested.

Looks like we'll be clear here weatherwise in Philly.
Radar shows a small patch of rain sw of NYC.
Hopefully it will all blow through.
Worse case us locals get to do it again next week

Yeah it's about to pour here in central NJ (not too far from Staten Island NY).
