I know we have about 10-15 cars at least from South NJ coming. Heard there were some people from Virginia coming up as well.

Can anyone else make it to the Stockton Rest Stop meeting point...besides me? Mile marker 58.7 just south of the I-195 interchange (exit 7A)....

If its not rainin this weekend and we don't postpone it I'm actually going to Atlantic city after Tony Lukes and staying for the weekend. You are more than welcome to take the ride to Atlantic city with me. Or did you mean any other runs separate from this one?
But Like I said... Weather shows Rain Saturday night in New York.

So it looks like i'm going to have to pull out of this one last minute because my car is out of commission. I have a whole thread about whats going on on the LS2GTO forum.

http://www.ls1gto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=445735

But overall, I have a broken bolt in the exhaust manifold from when I did a header install. I removed the head and took it to a machine shop and they destroyed it! Besides them trying to sell me the wrong head, them being (Westchester Crankshaft), I have a mangled bolt hole with the bolt still stuck in my original head, valves and springs in a separate box because they would not put them back. My motor is still in pieces on one side and dont have the tools to put the springs or exhaust valves in. I doubt i will have it ready this weekend.

Though I may meet up with anyone showing up at the church to have a quick catchup with you guys. Have fun if its still going on and no rain.

And Undertaker, i thought you got a standard CTS for some reason, I thought it was suppose to be a daily driver. But hey, if its a cts-v, that is awesome. Its the ls2 block or the newer ls3SC blocks?

Don't get me wrong Lt1 is great engine, but hell the LS2 is a beast.
Can the ZF Tranny handle the LS2? will it even bolt onto that engine? or will i have to get another transmission?
I have a 4l60e behind it, car was a auto when I bought it. People have done the ZF trans. Its a real easy swap as long as you have the tools and the time to throw it in.

I'm postponing this if there is even a chance of rain, I don't mean to sound like a stuckup but, my car has never been driven in rain and I don't plan on starting this weekend.

I will post officially if this is on or off for Saturday on Friday. I will keep checking the weather.

There is a chance of rain for Sat. afternoon, but should be cleared out and dry by midnight.

40% chance here in Philly too. But that's down from the 75% it was yesterday. I don't mind driving in the rain, but if it gets postponed I can make the rain date so I don't care either way.

Matt, Unless they are calling for a hurricane I would not cancel this. My experience in doing events such as this is if we lived by weather forecasts we'd never do anything. There are a lot of members here that will drive in the rain. Most of the group from the Philly area will be there rain or shine.
YOU can cancel but we'll still be there
