Great sadness...
My heart and prayers go out to all of you that were close with Linda and to Billy and her family. I was absolutely shocked this morning when Rick told me the news. I'm at a loss for words.
Linda welcomed me into the Corvette community with open arms and lots of advice. I'll never forget that.
May she rest in peace and I hope her family finds comfort in the power of the support they have around them in all of us.

Thank you Jim for editing and reinstating this thread.
Linda was loved by so many and for those that won't be able to attend the services, this allows them to convey their condolences and pay their respects.
I am still quite speechless. This was the last thing in the world I expected to hear and my heart goes out to Linda's family. May she find the peace that her soul so desperately needed
Godspeed Linda xo

I received the note from Tom last evening - I'm still in shock! This can't be. Linda is one of the nicest people I've ever met in my life. Rest in Peace. My sincere condolences to Billy and the entire family.

So sorry and sad to hear of this. I don't come on the boards much anymore but happened to see this and was shocked.
My condolences to the family. Lots of things to remember about this woman - a good soul.

If Tears Could Build a Stairway
If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it
And only God knows why
Our hearts still ache in sadness
And secret tears still flow
What it meant to lose you
No one will ever know
But now we know you want us
To mourn for you no more
To remember all the happy times
Life still has much in store
Since you'll never be forgotten
We pledge to you today
A hallowed place within our hearts
Is where you'll always stay
If tears could build a stairway
And memories were a lane
We would walk right up to Heaven
And bring you back again
No farewell words were spoken
No time to say goodbye
You were gone before we knew it

wow I'm shocked, while we usually disagreed on most everything, Sparkiee was definitely a welcome presence here.
This is a very sad situation.

For Linda
People will remember us not for what we said or what we did, but how we made them feel. Linda always made us feel welcomed and loved, and that's how we will always remember her. Godspeed, Sparkieee!
