what a nice meet! i'll make sure to stop by more often!
i was playing around with the camera settings and a polarizer but i am not sure what to think of the results. i'm interested to know what you guys think (sharpness, brightness, overall picture quality etc). thanks in advance!

Thanks for taking the time to post the pictures. That's a very interesting collection of vehicles. I have to make this a "must" before the weather becomes a factor.

Thanks for sharing. I like the shots posted here. The way the shots were framed, and the angles were excellent. If I had any criticism ( you asked ) it would just be that you might want to adjust them as far as brightness. After all, it turned out to be a mostly sunny, but chilly, Fall morning, and here it seems overcast.I saw your car there, but you were probably off somewhere with your camera.See you next time.
The photo of the 240Z ( 240ZOOMS) has a friend of mine in it. He was wearing the denim jacket. BTW, the guy he was talking to is Mark, who owns that simply perfect and stunning green Maserati Ghibli which was next to that Z. Between the Ferrari 250Gt, the Maserati, plus the XKE behind the Ferrari, you have my favorite cars of the day.

Mine was the Pueblo Gold Ford Explorer.
I sold my 2003 EB coupe last week, and I'm trying very hard to find my next car. It's got to be a 6spd, and preferably a C6 Vette in Monterey Red, Blue, or maybe even Cyber Gray( maybe). However, I've been talking to alot of Porsche people there.

I drove a Cayman S, and that is the one for me, if I decide to go that route. The handling and driving experience is far superior. Several Porsche 911 guys there admitted that the next one they want is a Cayman. I've heard so many differing views on Porsche engines, it's amazing. Some Forums say they have issues, and I spoke to a mechanic at a well-known local dealer yesterday, and he said he's never seen a Cayman with an issue. However, he said Porsche changed the engine design in 2009, AND, he would definitely recommend getting an extended warranty . That tells you something.
Fred, I drove a 1967 Tiger several months ago and didn't like it at all. Maybe it was just that one though, but I'm looking for more of a daily driver, not a garage queen type.
I'm still leaning towards another Vette.
Don't mean to hijack the thread. Let me add, the next meet is Oct. 8. Come on out and enjoy it.

When is the next one after Oct. 8th? I have to go out of town for this weekend, but wish I could make it. The weather is supposed to be fantastic.

Upcoming dates are as follows:
Sat. Oct. 8, Sun. Oct. 23, Sat. Nov. 5, Sun. Nov 20, Sat. Dec. 3, and Dec. 18 Rain dates may be made up on other weekends.
BTW, the town has a police officer and squad car stationed at the event. The guy last week was very cool, and spent alot of time checking out cars as he walked around, talking to everyone. The persons who made a scene which was discussed here, haven't returned and hopefully will not. I've met so many knowledgeable car folks here, and the whole experience is really a pleasure when you consider the quality and rarity of cars presented. I've been to alot of shows in the area over the years. This is definitely one of the best .
