I too had a heart attack and appreciate things much more since. Life is short so I intend to make the most of it.
Sell yours now and come down and buy mine. The one I told you about is still at the dealer

Actually, I did. I almost wrote out a check and gave it to him to void the deal. But, I went to Langhorne today and drove an 06 Montery Red Vert. It would be sitting in my garage right now if I had the money. A little too much for me. BTW, they actually have a "test track " there so you can check out a car before you take it. No BS!!! I chirped the tires a few times "checking it out" The guy was chomping at the bit with it being the last day of the month and all to move that car, but we couldn't agree on price. Too bad.
I also drove a BMW Z4. That car had everything in it too, and was 2 years newer, and 10 grand less. It was like butta. Smooth, really subtle suspension, yet very precise, and just enough power to be fun. Also, BMW's don't have self-destructing engines like the Porsche I was thinking of. You know I'd like to stay with a Vette, but for the money( which I don't have), the BMW sure has my attention.

Well, we didn't get the hoard of locusts, yet BUT I did find a huge grasshopper - had to be 4 -5 inches long on the side of my house. I did what every woman woudl do; grapped any empty tomato sauce jar (no< I can't make my own sauce) captured it and brought it inside to show Bill. Neither of us have ever seen anything like 'round these here parts.

I let it go in my little garden. Hope it will be happy there.

I'm guessing this means Billy's surgery went well, and that he will back on his feet soon. Good news . Looks like we are all on the mend, and getting ready for Autumn.
Believe it or not, I have not been able to find anything yet to replace my Vette. Well, let me say I did, but it was too much money. " You must learn to have patience Grasshopper, " as they would say in the old Kung Fu show. "Yes Master, I will try."
Guess I'm gonna have to change my avatar too.

Good to hear )read) you post without any negative thoughts. As far as grasshoppers? RA buys a variety of grasshoppers and releases them both home and at the shore to eat bugs that bother us humans. Grasshoppers are GOOD bugs that eat BAD bugs. Best of a fast recovery to Bill.

I also will be putting up a hunter green Vermont castings ventless gas log stove with a stone hearth. Good for space heating a large room.

I have a few friends that heat their whole house with one of these installed in a lower family room (split level houses). How ya feelin' Steve? I have a good feeling about your last medical experience.

That and gas is what in Nicaragua, like 12 cents a gallon? (or am I thinking of Venezuela?) I've got good info from friends in Costa Rica that applaud it as a great retirement living target. I'll be happy with Florida thank you. And Ralph is going to replace his C5 with a Poorsha or an Enzo or a Citroen or something!
