Here's a piece of road trivia that no one ever questions. The route number on the NJTP is I-95 only from exit 18 through exit 6. Route I-95 then travels across the river and into Pennsylvania where it continues to go south. So what is the route number on the NJTP below exit 6, you ask? Why it's Route 700 of course! Exits 6 to exit 1 (Delaware Memorial Bridge) are designated Route 700. There are two other roads that we travel that most folks don't know the number designations for. What is the route number for the Garden State Parkway? How 'bout The Atlantic City Expressway? (Google is your friend).

Here is one for you. What is the section of roadway called between exit 18 of the NJTP and the George Washington Bridge? I don't think you'll find that one on Google.

There should be no need for anyone to use the Ben Franklin Bridge to get to Tony Luke's.

The funny thing too, when you travel south on the NJTP and take Exit 6 in to PA, nowhere does that road conenct with I-95 here in PA.

They have been trying for years and I think they are actually going to finally make that happen, but for years and still to this day, you can not directly access I-95 from the PA Turnpike, so NJ just calls it quits with I-95 at Exit 6, sends everyone over to PA and you have to figure it out for yourself. I-95 is a screwy roadway from Allentown, NJ to Wilmington DE.

Pretty simple if you are travelling south from above exit 7 and have no intentions of getting off I-95 anywhere north of Wilmington, you can just stay on the NJTP to DE and you'll end up back on I-95..

It would be too simple for them to just rename the entire NJTP I-95 and rename the present I-95 from Wimington to Princeton something like I-195

Has anyone advised Tony Luke's that this event is happeneing. Being we'll have quite a few people showing up at Midnight, they WILL need to be prepared. Without prior notice WE will be the ones standing in looooong lines out front... Just sayin'

Good point Glenn, but without a head count what would it be that we told them? The window lady was pissed enough with us last year and she and they DID get notice.

I called down there and no answer.
