I think I have it set for the Thursday night before the show. I'll check for you.

We got some great stuff. Nice T-Shirts as usual to all entrants, dash plaques, great goodie bags and some nice door prizes as usual.

Live DJ, Detailing Demo by Adam's, Working a Show Deal with Race Ramps,
Rod Saboury's Twin Turbo '63 6 second street legal Vette. All GM cars this year.. So we should have some great new cars to look at too!

Looking forward to seeing you Doug. I'm going to try to get to the Chesapeake Show, but not sure I'll have the car done by then or the time to get away. Plus my wife found out six weeks ago she has breast cancer, so we have been jumping through those hoops with that, getting her treatments going... so needless to say, my time has been at a premium these days.

Hey Don, I was thinking about the last show with the camaros. I don't believe the vettes and camaros vote for each other, is that right? If not, they should otherwise it's two seperate shows.

This year there will be three Corvette only shows (NCCC Fun Shows)
One is judged by the entrants
One is judged by the spectators
One is celebrity judged

The All GM show is divided into three Major Classes: Muscle, Classic & Custom - and subdivided by manufacturer. They will be judged by participants only at this time. However we could make some final adjustments prior to the event.

I like your thought process, but need to take into consideration the plans that others have made for ballots etc. Thanks for the suggestion.

Doug,

By invitation - I choose, the dealership chooses. Typically the frame offs, and other trailer queens. This year we have the GM cars and some other special vehicles. I only have room for a few "normal" cars and those send me requests way early.

GM just notified us that the low serial no. 53 has mechanical issues so they will be sending a 1972 XP-859 Concept instead of the 53

Looking like a good weekend in store!

Hey Don, Great show but I have suggestion for next year. I can't see any reason why the voting can't be done by everyone on all cars. Corvette people vote on vettes and all the GM cars and vice versa. That way we vote on cars that we don't know previous and makes a more fair way of getting votes and it makes everyone interact with each other. Otherwise they are just two seperate shows on the same parking lot. You guys always have alot of door prizes and other great prizes to give away. Thanks for a great day and great weather too.
