Default List of reputable shops in the North East.

Burlington NJ Chevy just re-synced my TPMS for me at the end of the day, and for no charge because I was in uniform. Great dealer!

Why don't we start a list of reputable shops in the North East to take our Corvettes and other cars to for general service and mods. I'm new and don't know where to go.

the only problem is you see all the vettes in the parking lot and you then want to modify the car even more

We have done this before . . . there are a LOT of great places in this area, [your not in Kentucky anymore] (lol) however, everyone seems to pick the shop that they go to and recommend it, there is certinly something to be said about all of them both good and bad - so here are a few corvette specialty places, off the top of my head.

Performance shops in no particular order:

East Coast Supercharging
Cartec
Vette Doctors
Anger Management
Corvettes of Westchester (COW)
Tune Time
Race Proven Motorsporsts

I'm sure there are many more and sorry if I left someone's favorite out.

What about dealers or shops for routine maintenance and warranty work?

If I recall correctly, you still run the challenge occasionally . . .

I would like to try the NJ Motorsports park but, don't think my A4 with 373's are a good combo for it

I've never had to go for warranty work (I did buy my '01 there though), but I hear very good things about Bryner in Jenkintown for dealer-type work.

That combo is fine, just get a big trans cooler in front of where the front plate goes and remove the plate when on the track.

If you're near Stamford, CT my father in law runs a basic auto repair & diagnostic shop, plus emission testing & so forth. While not a Vette shop, he does just about everything else on old & modern domestic & foreign cars. Also has an alignment rack and nice tire balancer & mounting machines (we did my Z wheels a couple years ago). He's been a mechanic for something close to 50 years. Yes, you read that right. He's over 70 and still works 6 days a week. Can't be doing it that long without being fair and reasonable and having a great reputation.

If you're in the central part of Connecticut I'd recommend the Corvette Center in Newington, Ct. Their address is 184 Day Street and phone number is 860-953-2994.

They offer full mechanical services including mods as well as a body shop.

Corvette Paramedics is about 2 miles from you, parts, repairs, upgrades.
Conte Corvette is about 20 miles from you, any repair or maint.
Flanagans (their truck repair facility on Ark Road in Lumberton) is 5 miles from you, and can handle any repair, periodic maintenance etc. Tell Mike that Marty sent you.
For mods, perf upgrades, as listed earlier ECS, Vette Doctors, etc.

I have no delaers that I would reccomend, although Classic in Moorestown is a BIG local supporter of Corvette activities.

Lakes Corvette Club in Medford Lakes about ten minutes from you is a must!!!

Hope that helps, and see you around!
There are quite a few GREAT shows in the area!!!
Great way to meet the locals, and not so locals!

Did you forget that we sponsor the largest drag race series at Raceway Park, the East Coast Supercharging Corvette challenge?
