[EVENT] July 31 NY to Philly Cheesesteak Run
We're doing it again!!!! The NY to Philly Midnight Run!!!!
If anyone attended one of the last two original NY to Philly runs you know how much fun this is!!!
Event is set for Saturday July 31.......meeting spot for NY is the corner of Bell Boulevard and Union Turnpike Flushing (the church parking lot). We will meet at 10pm and depart Queens at 10:30 sharp! Anyone coming from Long Island, let me know and I'll give you directions to the Queens meet point.......
Depending on the amount of people from Jersey that are interested, I will post a 2nd pick up point at one of the rest stops on the Jersey Turnpike.
Our destination as always is Tony Luke's in Philadelphia!!!! We look forward to having a great time and another great run Bonnie & Clyde style!!!
If the weather forecast is crappy I'll arrange for a rain date (probably the following Saturday)
Let me hear some interest folks!

Theodore,
Jan and I are in and look forward to seeing you and Barry
NOTE:
Although Jan and I expect to attend this Midnight run I reserve the right to cancel our attendance due to chance of rain 5% or higher or other potentially hazardous weather situations.

If you're heading anywhere near Englishtown, NJ, you might want to make a stop at Raceway Park (along your cruise) and check out the "24th Annual East Coast Corvette Show & Go." I expect there will be quite a few Corvettes in the show as well as vendors, etc... And, they also have some races available for those who want to take a pass down the track, including an all new 12.50 Index.
For more info, see: http://www.corvetteexpress.com/showngo20101.pdf
Saturday, July 31st, 2010 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM ( for directions, see: http://www.racewaypark.com/travel_directions.aspx )
I am not affiliated with the club running this event but attended last year and found it to be a really nice venue for everything from the show to the "go" aspect of Corvettes. I believe that they may even have some autocross.

Ooops, Duh! I missed that when I read through this thread, sorry about that :o
Well, in that case, you "could" make it a VERY long day and start at the Show & Go and then head on to the midnight cruise, although I think I would pass out before I got to Philly (getting too old to pull those long days)
Again, sorry I missed that detail and hope you all have an awesome cruise!

We can change over to street tires and license plates, etc, but still need to take the trailer home. And, as I get older I realize that I would be wiped out before you began your run
Thanks for asking!
