SUNDAY MORNINGs in EDGEWATER NJ
For several years I drove the 50 or so miles to Long Island to the Captree Sunday morning "cruise in" or whatever you call it. There were great cars and great folks. The ride was fabulous due to the "curvy" nature of the parkways in NYC and at 5A.M. there was no traffic. However it is 50 miles and costs $20.00 for tolls and the traffic on the way home can get tough. It is worth the trip bu going every Sunday is not high on my list.
So, I found a great parking lot in Edgewater NJ. The lot is huge, and on Sunday the stores are closed. There is a Starbucks & McDonalds in the lot and a convenience store across the street.
A few folks started meeting during the spring of 2008 but when I was assigned to work on Sundays, it seemed to die off.
Lets see if we can get it started again. If interested I'll post up a map.

I'd be up for this on occasion once weather permits. Not EVERY Sunday, but certainly at times. 
Corvette friends, Mickey D's, and good parking? Sure! Why Not!

I was there once and had a great time. I'm in if the salt & weather is favorable for this Sunday. 
I will have to check my battery, have not started the car since Shermon's toy run.....

Great idea Jeff. For me, Captree is 70 miles one-way so Edgewater is a no brainer.
How about all the Whiskey Cafe people? Many of them may be up for a Sunday gathering also.

Theres usually other car clubs that meet up too there.
definitley when it gets warmer....we could always end it with a nice breakfast at Tick-Tock diner
