NECC Tours The Callaway Facility....

The New England Corvette Club toured the Callaway facility in Old Lyme, CT on Friday. Nine club Corvettes and one guest braved the rain in the morning and enjoyed a great tour of the entire plant. We saw several Corvettes and Camaros getting the Callaway treatment. A big "thank you" to Mike Vendetto for giving us a great tour and answering a ton of questions. I'll add some photos to this post in just a few minutes. I've got to sort through over 200 photos. Better make that an hour.

Yes, please post all the pics or send me a link to them. I have a car there waiting. Did anybody see a CG Z06 or even better take any pics of the cars awaiting there magic?

As to posting all the photos, can't do that. I took 238 pics. I will add a few more later today. It was a great tour and everyone there made our group feel right at home.

Your car has been stored in our warehouse since it arrived. I took a few pictures of the as-received condition. Very clean. We didn't tour the warehouse, so the club won't have any photos of your car.

Thanks Mike, I am happy to hear it is in the warehouse now. Is this pic it or was there another CG in the lot the day of the tour.

The one in the lot was just dropped off by the car carrier. It's going to become a Callaway Corvette SC652, too.

Steve...the New England Corvette Club is a club in Massachusetts on the south shore. it has about 30 members and they do the usual things, from car shows to just cruising around from event to event and they tend to enjoy going out to eat alot together......just your typical club.

I think they call NECC the "Meals On Wheels" Corvette club. Works for me!
