Weather permitting, I'm stretching the legs of my recently freshened up ECS Z on Sunday. I'd like to head out to PA. I live in Bridgewater, NJ (right by where 78 and 278 meet). Anyone have any good destination suggestions about an hour from where I live? By good, I'm thinking scenic with a decent restaurant/bar nearby?
Location: Southern New Jersey, The wet part at the bottom
John? There will be quite a few CF members in Phoenixville,Pa (Corvettes for a Cure), Doug, Chris, Mike and the ECS gang will be there too tuning cars. Nice rural (hint, wink, wink) back roads to play in, and food, maybe a dinner spot after, and plenty of good Corvette conversation throughout the day. It's a great destination for ya.
Excellent suggestion (I acknowledge posting too quickly). Literally, immediatley after I posted I saw the Corvettes for Cure posting. Looks like a great ride and, more importantly, a worthy cause. Appreciate the suggestion. I take it you'll be there? If so, look forward to meeting you at ECS' set up.

*Looks around* Who me? Nahh, I don't like 740 rwhp / 690 rwtq with no issues. I mean, come, you could have done better Doug, seriously.
Sarcasm aside, absolutely sick - I say SICK! I've refrained from posting a more detailed response until I have more time so that the post is fulsome. Nevertheless, what I expect to add with more miles is based on the following - HOLY SHI*T. Soooo fun, stealthy fast, manageable out of boost and rocketship quick/fast when the gauge goes positive!!!
p.s. spoke to a gentleman (forum member) today who is bringing his C6 to you in a next week or so for the SC600. He already bought the kit/install, but I assured him there is NOOO better place to go. I could tell he was excited and made clear he needs to look down the road (not the gauges) when hit dips into the boost. I'll let him post when he wants to goes "public".
If you haven't already mapped out your route, you'll see that you have the chance to drive though Valley Forge National Park on the way to the show. VERY nice, VERY windy roads. (Thats pronounced "wine-d, not "win-d"). Just watch for deer on 422 & 23 through the park.
It looks like weather will be perfect, which is why we moved it to September from July. So come on out, and make sure to say hi to me. I'll be the one running around looking completely stressed out!
If anyone does plan any "after-show" drinks or dinner, I would love to be a part of it. I could certainly use a cold beer after the show!
See ya soon!

Hmmm...what do you guys think I do, drink all the time???
Actually, that's CE-LT4's and Adam's stomping grounds, not mine. I'm sure they'll have recos. However, it takes us a long time to break everything down, so unless people can help, you guys will probably be long gone by the time we're ready to sit down and eat (drink).

Sometime in the future you may want to cruise up Interstate 80 through the Delaware Water Gap in Pa, very pretty area.
Hmmm...I run a business, drink, run a charity, drink, drink with my friends, garden, drink some more, am addicted to MSNBC and am a political nut, cook, drink wine, travel. Huh...lots of drinking apparently. Just kidding!
