Default Anybody doing the Paramus show Sunday??

There's a corvette show up by me at the old Bennett Chevrolet, the Harbor Island show in Mamaroneck which I wouldn't enter because you can't leave till the end of show, and this Paramus Corvette show which I think I've been to in the past. Just wondering!

Wow. I stopped by this show today in my travels. What happened? A sign of the times I guess. There was only about 45 cars. Even upstairs in the Corvette showroom most of the cars were pre-owned and there were only a few new Corvettes. I can remember back in the 80s this show drew from all over and the show area would be full. There were special guests like Reeves Calloway and Zora himself. On top of that there would be lots of new Corvettes in stock. I guess just another example of how things change as time goes by.

I stopped by at around noon and had the same impression. I couldn't believe how bad the attendance was.

It couldn't have been because of the Garden State Plaza show. That isn't until October 18. Maybe it was due to the Giants home opener.

They used to have this show twice a year. Was there a spring show this year?

I go way back as well. I don't remember seeing Reeves Callaway, but I did see Zora there. He was treated like a rock star.
