The National Corvette Restorers Society (NCRS) is holding one of its six annual regional meets in Marlborough, beginning on Thursday, September 17th. The show will run through Saturday the 19th, with public admission on Friday and Saturday, September 18 & 19. The public viewing hours start at 9:00 AM each day and run through 4:00 PM on Friday and through 3:00 PM on Saturday. Admission is $7.00 for adults, $5.00 for seniors (65+), and children twelve and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
The NCRS show will be held at the Best Western Royal Plaza Trade Center, 181 Boston Post Road West, Marlborough. Visitors who drive their Corvettes to the show will be allowed to park in the special Corvettes-only parking areas closest to the Trade Center.
The NCRS is the premier organization in the Corvette hobby, having over 15,000 member families, comprised of over 30,000 men, women and children. This will be the third time that the NCRS has hosted an event in Marlborough; in 2006 it held a regional meet here, and in 2007, Marlborough was the host city for that year’s NCRS National Convention. The 2007 national convention featured 285 event-registered Corvettes.
This year’s regional meet will have over 100 of the nicest Corvettes in the world! The NCRS’ objective is to restore the Corvette to the exact condition it was in the day it left the Chevrolet factory, no better and no worse. Most of the Corvettes in the Trade Center will be judged for the quality of the restoration. Judges will evaluate those cars for originality and condition. Additionally, some Corvettes will be put through the NCRS Performance Verification test; the PV test, as it is known, evaluates all mechanical functions of the car, and a car must score 100% to pass this test.
Judging activities will be ongoing when you visit on Friday or Saturday. Please understand that the judges are involved in the evaluation of the cars and allow them to do their work. Because the Trade Center will be full of Corvettes, no wheeled devices or footwear will be allowed (except wheel chairs). Thank you for your understanding.
The NCRS management and local host chapter are proud to return to Marlborough for a third time, and are looking forward to seeing you at the show!
Corvette Mike is one of the two sponsors for this NCRS meet. Because of that, I will be there on Saturday with one or two of our Corvettes. Be sure to stop by and say hi!
This was a great event. Other than Carlisle, I've never so many great Corvettes all in one spot. The oldest I saw was a 1954. I saw a guy there that I've seen on TV many times. He buys a lot of Vettes from Meccum and Barrett Jackson. I think his company is called Pro Drive but that might be wrong. Someone out there knows who I'm talking about. Again, a great event with perfect weather!

Yes he was there with his L-88. That is Terry Michaelis of Pro Team Corvettes in Napoleon, Ohio.
L88.....god I love that silver coupe...... yes some great cars to be sure...its like being in a library...you have all the reference points you need to see how off your car is...hahahahahahahahaha no seriously...great cars....fine judging...we need this for our hobby. I might say the gentleman demonstrating the art of detailing ...well....lets just say...those of us who show our cars might just need to spend more time on the car than he does..but he did have some great tips on general cleaning...
