So Alex, did you remember your PIN this time when you used the ATM in Bob's building today, or did you have to call Ed for it

I am still unemployed. The project contracting company for at&t called me up the other day after i just got back and offered me less then i was making. I can wait another 3 months and go back under a regular 2 year contract for my old rate. So I asked for a 3 month contract and they said they can do that so I hope to be back to work soon. Then in 3 months I hope I can go back to my old contract company with my previous rate.

OMG! OMG! OMG!

This is hilarious!!!! So as you know, my wife and I don't have much reason to go to sleep early anymore. So we stay up watching Craig Ferguson's late late show. My wife loves his show, so much so, that she went to the CBS website and sent him an email. Every night, he reads fan emails and gives some crazy answers for them. So my wife sent in this question:

"What would you do if the winning puppet from the puppet contest decided to leave the show and pursue his/her own career?"

If you don't watch the show, they've been having a favorite puppet contest. He uses various animal puppets once in a while on his show.

Well, they just read my wife's email!!!!

My wife was in a state of shock!!!

When we heard him say "Jessica from New York wrote..." We both looked at each other with a stunned look. Craig got all riled up answering the question too!!!

Now I need to find a copy of that video!! My wife is so happy she had her 15 minutes of fame on TV.

I tried that already, Hulu just sends you to the CBS website which only posts clips and not full episodes.

NC sheriff's deputy uses Corvette to stop speeders
Thu Jul 23, 8:56 pm ET

RALEIGH, N.C. – At least one sheriff's deputy in North Carolina won't have any trouble catching speeders. Multiple media outlets reported Wednesday that the Wake County Sheriff's Department has a Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Chevrolet said the car has a top track speed of 198 mph, with a base sticker price of $74,875. Its V8 racing engine generates 505 horsepower.

Sheriff's spokeswoman Phyllis Stevens said the car didn't cost the county any money since it was seized from a drug dealer.

Wake County isn't the first to used souped up cars.

Former Davidson County Sheriff Gerald Hege once had a Chevrolet Impala SS with a Corvette engine

Former Forsyth County Sheriff Ron Barker used several Camaro Z28s for traffic enforcement.

As long as it didn't cost the town anything as it was seized in a drug bust, why not? Hmmm, you've got to wonder if the local cops don't "have a little fun" with this cruiser from time to time though .

Looks like it was alot of fun.

If this was the wedding ceremony, imagine the party they had when they left the chapel, and hit the dance floor at the reception?
Most of my friends met at the dance clubs we like to go to, so the receptions for the last few weddings have been a blast.

Looks like I will be going back to work soon however it will be at a lower rate with no benefits for at least now. After three months I hope to go back under a regular contract at my old rate with benefits.
