Default [EVENT] Drive your Corvette to work day 6/26 NOT!

You won't be driving to work for this event!
The day before is my 10 year anniversary for owning the Ruby
Since I can't drive my vette to work I was thinking to celebrate this by taking the day off and go for a nice cruise. Who wants to drive the Corvette to work anyway just to see her in the parking lot begging to cruise? Or in my case getting covered in construction dust

I'll tell you where we are going when you show up at my house

Here's my plan:
Garage will be open at 9AM for anyone that wants to hang out for a little before the 10:30 departure time.
We'll cruise for about an hour and stop for lunch at a burger joint (no NOT McDs )
Leave lunch by 12:15 cruise about an hour to our final destination
Still planning to be home by late afternoon, unless someone has a good idea

So who wants to take the day off and celebrate Corvettes with me that day?

Looking like the following will be joining me
Ol'55
CE-LT4
NJ02Vette
TSTS
sscamaro
Grey Ghost
Kevin
gpopvet?
BillW

I don't know where I'll be on the 26th.
If I am collecting unemployment then, I'm in.

There is NO way I'm driving my Corvette to work on the 26th!

I'm retired and have no job.

But weather permitting I'll bring out the Vette and join you John in your celebration. Congrats, and "Happy Anniversary" See ya on the 26th

I'll note the date, Rex. Since I don't drive to 'work' any longer (my "morning commute" is to the coffee pot, then turn right...into my home office...no traffic)...this would be a perfect way to spend the day.

Why not make it a drive to your place up north. We can have some fast drive up the turnpike and then exit up at 80 and take back roads to the place. Im sure there are some good places to eat up that way.

but then again...i could be wrong

Maybe a Yuengling tour?

Just throwing stuff out there JP
