While the drama of the 24 Hours of Le Mans unfolds on our monitors, there will be plenty of racing action on the half-mile Supertrack at Grand Prix New York as we host the first annual “12 Hours of GPNY”. Come race through the night with us and finish up just as the checkered flag is shown at Le Mans! This race will be a huge test of each team’s ability to communicate effectively and drive consistently not only to finish the race, but to take the checkered flag! (All teams MUST preregister prior to 6/13) 6:30PM – Registration for participants closes. Drivers meeting begins. 7:00PM – Practice/Qualifying begins for all teams. 7:30-7:45PM – Last minute preparations made for start of race. 8:00PM – GREEN FLAG *During the 12 hours of the race, we will be airing the 24 Hours of Le Mans on monitors throughout the facility. Food and drinks will be available at Eau Rouge. Sunday June 14th, 2009 8:00AM – CHECKERED FLAG 8:30AM – Awards ceremony. 9:00AM – Breakfast of champions at Eau Rouge. ($10.00 per driver, buffet style breakfast) *Teams must make at least a $400.00 deposit at the time of pre-registration.
