i saw this thread and i have contemplated doing a strip on my z for a while. who does this kind of work in the north jersey area and would be good at it?
I think the shop my cousin works at(Bedminster area I believe) did something like that on a c6z a few weeks ago. He sent me a pic on my cell so I can't speak for the quality. I can get you the shop details if you want.

As Steve said, try the vinyl. If you don't like the look after a year, you can just take it off. If after a year, you still like it, then have it painted. I bought my stripes from a vendor on here and had a sign shop (they do vinyl al the time) install it. Good luck.

If anyone wants traditional hand-painted pinstriping, that would be me. Hence the name "striper". I've been doing it for more than 35 years. Wide racing type stripes are not what I do.
