Guess who dyno'd today?
ME!!! :D My tuning is WHACKED... and I need to put some cats on because the lack of backpressure is killing me.
Anyways, had a very impressive session on a very pessimistic dyno... went to Larocca's which is known for being 9-10rwhp off... my wimpy 218 and stage 1 heads put down 401.5 rwhp and 379 rwtorque. The torque is getting killed with the straight pipes so I have to put some cats on :cry But I'm at peak for about 3800-4000 rpms so that is sweet. There is a lot more room for improvement with some tuning and tweaks... so I will eventually be going to Cartek to get some more optimistic numbers. The Larocca's guy was very impressed with the results, knowing that the dyno normally is a bit lower and I was happy!
I am not into dyno numbers or anything, because peak doesn't mean too much at the track... but we found out where I need some tweaks and tuning and Mr Tomcat is turning into a monster :D :yesnod:
