Default [Non-Vette-related] Philly appliance donation - ever sucessfully do it?

I have a (months-old, working - don't ask why) washing machine that I want to donate for the tax break. There are a bunch of options regardless of how I google search it, but when I make the phone call, no one wants it.

If you live in the Philly area, and you've ever sucessfully donated an appliance, to whom did you give it?

Now I know why these things end up getting dumped in the woods.
