MD Corvette Clubs....

So other than this great forum

what are the active clubs in the region? Freestate? CCA? Frederick?

Who "belongs" to what group? Is C/F your "home"?

...yea....I have newbie questions....

There's a group of us near your area that get together a lot (although I haven't had a car recently but I will be out with everyone soon). Not really a club, but a group of friends with some awesome vettes that go to shows, races, etc....keep an eye on posts by Andy aka "FLATOUT" he is the MD events coordinator and he'll be sure to posts when the Maryland Street Vettes crew gets together

This is my home! I don't have to pay dues, and I find the people here seem to enjoy modding their cars more like I do.

The state does have some great clubs, and organizations though. I will usually pass along the others clubs fly'ers and info for their shows as well as help promote them to the online community.

New Free State Corvette Club member here.
They have many good people there doing good for the community. Raised lots of money for Spina Bifida and helped out the USO, gave goodie bags to troops heading out at BWI around Christmas.
They put on one helluva Corvette weekend in Oct.
Check them out...dues are $117 for a family per year.

I'm coming from a purely Internet based club that planned and did almost everything via an on-line forum. Freestate is the closest "club" to me.

I slowly getting mod fever...and that is not a good thing...especially for my wallet.

So WHEN I need some help, I know where to direct my questions.

This forum has been a huge source of information and ideas already.

Give me time. I'll get the hang of this place too.

Hi, I'm from Perry Hall but I belong to the Belair Corvette Club. There is a smaller club that I hang around with call Chesapeake Corvette Club from Baltimore and a great bunch of guys and gals. Actually they are having an all car show at the Golden Corral on Rossville Blvd. off of Rt1(Belair rd.) and I695, so pass it along and come join the fun. Doug

I live in Perry Hall and am a member of Belair Corvette Club. As was said if you are in Maryland and own a Corvette you have to go to Corvette Weekend in Ocean City. This year the first weekend in October.
