[PICS] The Northeast Wolfpack invades Vegas!!
Just thought I'd share a few pics from my recent vacation that turned into a forum event. My wife and I went to vegas for a few days to celebrate her 30th Birthday. The day I was there, I posted in the bar thread that I was there, Danny (aka Trumpvette), who was on a job assignment in Vegas, saw my post and called me to say he was there as well! At that point, it turned into a forum event!! Here's a few pics I took (actually, I took 750+ pics from our trip but I'll spare you the hour by hour recap )
The Mirage where my wife and I stayed at, we absolutely loved it! It had everything, even a dolphin habitat
The trainer, who was really cute, giving the crowd a show
Speaking of cute girls, while Danny and I were having a few drinks at the Revolution Lounge at the Mirage, we met this super hot waitress. Well, since I'm always on assignment for future events , I told her about the Vette Model Search and said she'd love to attend next year's event!!! She gave me her phone number and email address so you'll be seeing her next year at the 2009 Vette Model Search!!
Where to Governor??
After going for a nighttime cruise of the strip, Danny, my wife and I head to the Stratosphere to check out the view from the top
Trumpvette stares at one of the torture devices at the top of the Stratosphere
This one was called "Insanity" and it's easy to see why??
Imagine, being dangled 108 stories above Las Vegas, then spun around like a top while looking down, that's insanity!!
My wife and I at the Stratosphere observation deck
Snoopy and Christina Aguilera, well, her double
You guys look cute together
Notice how they kept these showgirls behind ropes when Trumpvette and I were around. I think our reputation preceeded us!

Just some of the hotels we hit on the Strip. I'm sure the Wynn is Shermon's (aka NYC Vette) favorite
The Venetian
Treasure Island
Some very hot exotics parked at the Mirage
The Luxor
We hit almost every hotel on the strip, my wife and I had so much fun. I'm so glad we got to meet up with Trumpvette and hang out with him. We definitely have to organize a full forum getaway one of these days!

Nice , last time I was in Vegas I stayed at the Mirage too - Dont you love how the stippers , I mean waitresses dance in the letters at the revolution bar ?
Glad you enjoyed yourself. Now is the time to go to Vegas, because it's really hurting and there are great deals. My wife and I went to Vegas last month. For non-stop flights on Continental, 4 nights at Paris, and a rental car (although not a Vette), it was about $1,100. There are more shows available now than usual through the 2-for-1 ticket outlets. We saw Mama Mia, Menopause, and Rita Rudner all at half price. You can even get discount tickets for Bette Midler.
Looks like it was a blast. If you set it up, I'm in. Your wife is lovely, I guess everyone asks you the same question I get asked "how does she put up with you?"

It came out to about $300 a day, it definitely wasn't throttled down, I've got the speeding ticket to prove it. Who the heck would think they'd have speed traps set up in the middle of the desert with no one around for miles??

Let's see ... the cops know that tourists flock to Vegas with alot of money and rent fast sports cars.
Do you think that they just might have figured out that the tourists will take them out on a long, flat, straight road to see how fast they will go? Where else would they set up a speed trap? It's like fishing in a barrel. Easy pickings.

After seeing how much shopping she did, you would be asking, "how do I put up with her". She enjoyed every second of our trip, I'm so glad she had a fun time for her 30th Birthday, she's a big Beatles fan so the Cirque Soleil show was the icing on the cake.
