Default [EVENT] 5/3 Poker Run in memorial of Chuck McConnell

Date: 5/3 Saturday
Time: 11 AM
MEET Location: the first rest stop on north bound 95 in PA just over the Delaware border. Those traveling south on 95 will have to exit on Naamans Rd (First Delaware exit) and get back on 95 north to the rest stop.

Travel plans:
Leave the rest stop at 9:30 AM, travel to Brandywine Park just south of 202 on Route 1.
From Brandywine to Marsh Creek State park north of Exton on Route 100.
From Marsh Creek to East Goshen Township Park on Paoli Pike.
From East Gosen to Ridley Creek State Park.
The route is about 70 miles.

Cost is $10 per hand, one hand per person.
Each car will get a set of rules and route suggestions at the rest stop.
At each stop you will be dealt a card that will be recorded.
At the last stop, once all the cards have been dealt you may throw away as many cards as you want and buy new ones at $5 each.
The top 3 hands will split 50% of the pot. (10% 15% 25%)
The other 50% of the pot will go to Chuch McConnell's charity.

What to bring:
Full tank of gas
FRS radio
Chairs for the last stop
Sandwiches and drinks for the last stop

Is Duffer's a Martini Bar? After Len's Hooters day I'm very spoiled by Firewaters. That's my kind of place. It was recommended by Jack, and he was right!

We could make that a stop instead of stop #2 but they probably aren't open then Maybe go there for a "nitecap" stop?

Rex - Wife will not get up that early on a weekend for something like that. What a great relationship. I will try to find a co-pilot.

Your right I didn't read all the way through the first time. My bad.

Firewaters is a great place for we folks that like a choice of craft brewed and imported beer as well.

Makes no difference to me. My GF works every other weekend. She is against me getting another GF for the off weekends so I must go it alone
