Default [PICS] From the Exotic Rally: Spring Sprint to Bear Mountain!!!

A few of us had the opportunity to do a run with a group of exotics here in LI, the last one we went on was the Turkey Run during Thanksgiving. This year, we went up to Bear mountain and had an incredible time. Enjoy the pics!!!

Arriving at the Lambo/Bently dealership where the meeting spot was, the exotics were already in full force. Here's a Ferrari F430

First Audi R8 I've seen on the road

Shermon's next vette. This Rolls inside the dealership was rolling on 24's!

Wow!! A very rare Jag, who knows how much they're asking!

I love Aston Martins!!

A sea of Ford GTs

I'll take it!! Love the color on this Lambo Murcielago

Where waxers place their Exotic Rally stickers

Where leaser's who temporarily bolt on faulty pro chargers place theirs.

Pimpin ain't easy but having a Viper sure makes it easier

If I buy a Lambo from her, will she go out with me?

Noble's engine bay

A pic of the outside

I see a trend here....

I hope it's just a fad, these things are usually started by nuts

Ahhhh, the Enzo arrives

How low can ya go!!

We're blocked in, it's discrimination against Chevy's I tell ya!! We'll just have to "catch up"

And we're off!!!

The first catch of the day. The Nassau cops weren't playing around but once we left LI, it was much better

I was like a kid in a candy store

See ya!!!

Bye bye!!

The route was awesome, lots of beautiful scenery with some great roads

Oh Ed......

Chasing me down

You don't see this everyday in your side mirrors

Approaching bear mountain

I was totalling in love with this Camaro!!

This ain't your grandpa's Camaro, it's totally redone, new engine, new disc brakes, coilovers, huge beefy tires, the works!

I so want one!!

Rivals and friends

Pulling over to let the slow pokes catch up

Obligatory Cool C5 pic

And another with Slipnslyde. Sorry about that rock!

So you sold the house and kids and got an Enzo huh?

Our fearless leader

A few more Camaro pics

I just couldn't get enough!!

What an engine bay!!

A rolling work of art

Time for some twisties!!!!

I love this road

Wish the exotics would have pushed it here a bit more. I guess when you're only inches from a cliff, inside a 200k vehicle, you take more precautions

Uh hoh, something happened. Police Roadblock up ahead...

They're questioning the lead car about someone....

Another cop arrives. This isn't good

Gotta be careful, don't want to be caught

They found the one they were looking for

"Oh God, please don't let them take my car away. My wife will kill me"

You can see how everyone is really worried about Ed's fate

Evil prevails

But we're escorted out of the park, never to return

The slow escort gave us a chance to enjoy the scenery

Very beautiful

Wheeeeeeeh!

Arriving at the restaurant

One more photo op

The final exotics arrive

Hope you enjoyed the pics!!

Thanks! I played around with the upload settings on photobucket to get sharper pics. I needed to make them a bit bigger though. Here's a few more:

I sold Susannah to a dot com billionaire and I sold Ryan on eBay. With the state of the housing market, I could not get a decent price...so at least I still have a place to park my new Enzo

Best not to talk about it.

As for further runs, c'mon Kim, this is child's play for the NE wolfpack. The problem was that the Exotic Rally organizers told the police the route in return for them to help close the roads. They decided it wasn't possible but they knew the route and were out in force.

When I set up runs, I like to keep the routes quiet till the day of the event.

With Ed's driving skills, short license plate which is easy to remember and the invention we all love "cell phones." It does not take much for someone to make a call.
My license plate is easy to remember also.

We had a great time and also took about 200 photos. There were AMAZING cars everywhere you looked. Alex did a great job giving you an overview of the cars so I don't want to duplicate anything he did. Therefore, I am limiting my photos to two categories...Funny License Plates and What is Wrong with this Picture

Funny Plates...

What is Wrong with these Photos....

Look a photo of Ed and there are NO police in sight

Hint: Look at the front rim...it is MOVING Not only that, we were on I-684 at the time

You don't see this everyday...an Enzo in the rain with it's windshield wiper ON!!! He is certainly NOT a waxer

Nikon D40x. Got it back in the winter. I've been waiting for runs like these to get it out. I had been having some trouble with photobucket but I think I got it now.

A few droplets don't count as rain. The ground stayed dry throughout the whole run, although, I was getting kind of scared when I saw those couple of drops, my Zaino senses were going crazy!!
