Default Exhaust - Uninstall / Weld / Reinstall

Does anyone know of a Shop in CT that can accomplish this?

The hanger on my driver side B&B Bullets snapped off at the weld.

B&B already sent me the replacement hanger I just need to find a place to weld it on and do the uninstall/install work.

Thanks!

Any one of the chain muffler shops should have welding capability & if you ask nicely, I'm sure they could help you out. I needed some welding done couple of years ago & local Midas shop helped me.

this is a common problem with the bullets...stainless needs stainless wire to be mig'd or to be tig'd not to rust. I'm a lil disappointed with B&B because back in 01 or 02 my buddy with a denali had a problem they shipped him a new tailpipe section and charged his card, and waited for teh damaged one in return and credited him. IE no downtime.....this new method of service is bull thats not fixing it, its givin you a part and a cost and downtime to fix it.

Wish I could offer more help but I'd bitch em out...thats not good customer service in my book.

Thanks guys

Hmm So looks like I better get myself some pucks asap. (chances of a chain having them is probably slim and none)

Make sure I mention I need stainless wire for the weld.

Also can they take them off and do them right there? Or will I need to have them swap them out with the old TI's before they work on them (it's the DD these days doh hehe)

I'd have to see it but I'd probably want to use a screwjack on the pipes in the car and then tack the bracket to the pipe then pull it downand weld itout of the car, but if they have the wire and the bracket and the car should be a no-brainer.

I got energetic and cheap and made a catback for my car last month wasn't terribly bad once everything was together to do, just a bracket should be a breeze.

Hmm pardon my ignorance but what is a screwjack?

And yeah the hanger is all the broke and there is no hole in the pipe just the weld it self seems to have "popped off"
