Stephen T. (Humanoid 2.0)
I hope Stephen doesn't get angry with me. I have only the best intentions in starting this thread.
I spoke with Stephen earlier in the day. His Granddad isn't doing well since the heart surgery. Apparently the surgery and the subsequent therapy went very well. Unfortunately, Grandpa has started a downhill slide as cancer seems to have spread throughout his body.
For all of Stephen's life, he has had a very special relationship with Granddad. Granddad pretty much took care of Stephen and his mom and now it's time for Stephen to return the favor, so to speak. Grandpa is at home with Stephen and in the capable and loving hands of a local hospice. He continues to rest comfortably with Stephen nearby to lend a hand with his everyday care.
Please take a minute or two and say a prayer for Grandpa. I'm sure Stephen and Grandpa will appreciate it.
Charlie

Thanks for posting this Charlie, you're always looking out for everyone. We may not say it often but that speaks volumes about where your heart is.
We'll be praying for him Stephen. As others mentioned, its a big sacrifice taking care of your elders, its something alot of people don't do any more but its something that God doesn't overlook in the grand scheme of things. We're here for you and your family Stephen.

Thanks for posting this Charlie!
If anyone has ever spoken to Steve (after he gets past the sneaky pics chat ) they understand how much he loves his grandfather. Stephen would do anything for him, and pretty much puts his own personal stuff on the back burner for his grand dad.
Steve, I will keep you and your grandfather in my prayers. If you need anything at all, please do not hesitate to call...I would help in any way I can!!
