Default Anyone have a C6 with modified suspension...

Near CT that would be willing to let a fellow C6 owner test drive it?

I'm ready to get rid of this car because of the handling feel. I am let down by it. I think my C5 Z06 definitely felt better. This C6 is a capable car, but I don't feel like it's a "driver's car".

I'd like to drive another C6 with modified suspension and see if that does the trick or not.

Otherwise I am looking into getting a Lotus, NSX, another C5Z, or even pairing down to one car and getting an M3.

Well, if you want it all, you can't have it for under $100k, that's for sure. I have Bilstein Sports on my Z51 C6, but my stock 4 door Mazda still feels like it handles better... A Lotus Elise/Exige would definately outhandle the C6, but you would be giving everything else up - comfort, torque, power modability/$, practicality,... Too much for me in a street car. From everything I've heard the NSX is not woth the money. Seems to me you would be happiest with the C5Z again...

I've never driven a C5, NSX, M3, or Lotus, so I can't comment on any personal experience though...

What sort of difference do the Bilsteins make?

What does an ugly AWD pig have anything to do with my concerns?

Meh, absorbs the little bumps better, car feels a tiny bit more even while cornering... I'm gonna do swaybars next and be done with it.

I have heard a lot of suggestions - from shocks/sways, to bushings, to alignment. It's a lot of "experimenting"...
