Alright Don (Far4nugen) and I went on a spur of the moment trip down to Mid-Atlantic Grand Prix and I talked to managment about doing another one of our events on the last Sunday in April. I figured this far in advance we could get a good showing and the weather will be nice for the "spirited" jaunt down the turnpike.
For those that haven't gone yet. Check it out - they added some cool video to give you a feel of the place:
John, I'm going to give it a week to see how many guys can go with the conflict at Watkins Glen. We do have 15 guys going from this other club so if we can 15 on our side - we'll do it and I'll put another one together the following month that hopefully everyone can attend.
BTW, I may try to make your cruise on Sunday. My only problem is that weekends are tough for me until I move into my new place in April. It'll probably be a last minute decision.
George, Lucas Chevy replaced a wiring harness that was chafed. Knock on wood since that replacement it has survived two rain/snow storms so its looking good. I did, just as a precaution put the stock air box back on just to rule that out. I did get a code/engine light for a heated oxygen sensor (10 PCM - P1154 - I think offhand). Alex said that it could be fixed with a retune so since ECS was unable to retune my car after the header install, I'm heading up there this afternoon for that tune.
hey George!! tha car is great!! oh wait you werent talkin to me huh?? Damn! tha weather is great for top down drivin!
